Public access. ERIC has standard and advanced search systems that identify items within its digital library of education research and information. Full-text and annotated bibliographic records dating from 1966 are included within the ERIC databases. Research-related items include: journal articles, books, research reports, conference papers, technical reports, etc.

Alternatives

1. An alternative for student and professional counselors is to access the EBSCO, ProQuest, or similar databases to find articles for research projects. If you are not affiliated with a college, university, or institute which provides off-campus access to EBSCO, ProQuest, or other electronic databases, an alternatives might be available though your local public library or a statewide initiative that is managed through your ISP (Internet Service Provider). 2. Educator's Reference Desk--(Information Institute of Syracuse)
Public access. Use the search field or directories to identify articles and information related to counseling and education topics. (Lesson plans for grades K-12 are available for multiple subjects.)
